my ability to blend creativity, design thinking, and hands-on craftsmanship….

Our goal was to create a pair of pants that blended modern streetwear aesthetics with tailored structure—
A silhouette that balances form and function: structured at the waist, relaxed through the leg.
Distinctive design details—panels, stitching, and proportion—that signal intentionality, not mass production.
A garment that captures the JhasonParker brand identity: experimental, textural, and slightly unconventional,
while still comfortable enough for daily wear.
Material selection prioritized affordability without sacrificing durability or texture.
Limited yardage required strategic pattern layout and forced us to design with efficiency
Hardware and notions (zippers, buttons, thread) had to be sourced within a set spending cap, influencing choices
in closure style and seam finishes.
The budget ultimately pushed us toward a more intentional, detail-oriented build
Fit Requirements: Mid-rise waist, straight-to-wide leg, comfortable movement range, and a structured top block.
Sewing Constraints: Pattern pieces had to be reusable, modifiable, and achievable with available equipment
Time Constraints: A weekend build cycle—concept → pattern drafting → sewing → refinement.
Material Constraints: Fabric thickness affected seam allowances, pocket depth, and panel construction; the grainline
and stretch behavior shaped the final silhouette.
